Fourth of July

first_imgIt is the birthday of our nation.  Traditionally, this has always been a day to enjoy picnics and watch baseball.  Thank heavens some things still follow tradition.  Although if you find anyone playing a double header today, it will be because of necessity and not a planned event. With million dollar contracts and agents, baseball players truly like the idea of independence.  When they were making little money, they played whatever management said.  Now it is written in baseball rules that you can only play so many games in so many days.  As you can tell, I am not exactly in favor of this.Don’t let the fact that your favorite team will only play one game today, because the 4th of July is about freedom and family.  Have a great day with your family!last_img read more
