CAF won’t back Musa Bility’s FIFA presidential bid

first_imgThe Confederation of African Football will not support the FIFA presidential bid by Musa Bility of Liberia.CAF says its executive committee heard Bility at his request at a meeting on Thursday and decided against supporting his proposed candidacy.The executive panel “wished him good luck” with his bid, CAF said in a statement.The statement made no mention of possible contenders from Africa or elsewhere it might support.CAF president Issa Hayatou, FIFA’s senior vice president, and South African businessman Tokyo Sexwale, a member of FIFA’s discrimination task force, have been speculated as candidates to succeed Sepp Blatter on Feb. 26.CAF says its executive committee wants time to study all options. Nina Vineyard, 90, Argonia: June 20, 1925 – August 25, 2015

first_imgNina VineyardNina A. Vineyard, of Argonia, died Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the Harper Hospital in Harper at the age of 90.Nina was born the daughter of Sheridan and Hattie F. (Walker) Wise on Saturday, June 20, 1925 in Aurora, Missouri.On September 10, 1946, Nina and Charles Vineyard were united in marriage in Hiawatha. Together they celebrated 39 years of marriage before his death.Survivors include her son, Wayne Vineyard and his wife Kim of Wichita; son, Russell Vineyard of Washington D.C.; grandchildren: Wayne Vineyard, Jr. and his wife Sarah of Argonia, Brian Vineyard of Ellsworth and Amanda Hernandez of Wichita; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild along with many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Harley Vineyard; seven sisters and five brothers.Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, August 28, 2015 with the family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.Funeral services for Nina will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 29th, 2015, in the chapel of Cornejo|Day Funeral Home & Crematory, Wellington.Interment will follow at the Milan Cemetery near Milan.A memorial fund has been established in her loving memory to Futures Unlimited.
